Vineyard Is Planted!

Our vineyard is born.  On June 29, 2017 the last of 3500 vines was planted.  Stay tuned as our vines grow from their grafts in their protective "milk cartons".  Peter's "babies" are just getting started!

March 1, 2016 -  selected trees removed in preparation for soil rip in May.  

April 15, 2016 - engineering completed with detailed prints of development plan.

June 12, 2016 - Groundbreaking and Blessing of the Vineyard

June 2016 - soil rip, disking and soil amendments added

March 2017 - vineyard layout staked, end posts, vineyard stakes, vineyard wire delivered

April 2017 - discing completed

May 2017 - irrigation, end posts, trellis installed

June 2017 - 3500 Petit Verdot, Petite Syrah and Cabernet Franc one year old vines planted

June 4, 2017 - Blessing of the Vineyard and Celebration

November 2017 - vineyard is planted with mustard and canola for winter erosion control
